50 shades of grey.... fabric?

Sorry for the corny headline! I had to get your attention somehow to tell you that grey fabric is making a big comeback on office seating this year. Already we have sold over 400 chairs in grey fabric since January 2015. So why are people coming back to grey?

Over the past 5 years we have seen offices add colour with one of most popular fabrics being a lime green (Madura by Camira Fabric). This has helped to add a splash of brightness to workplaces but are people now getting fed up with colours that are 'in your face' every working day? Grey goes nicely with the stripped back, industrial trend that we are seeing in offices all over the country right now. Offices with bare concrete or metal floors, with metalwork painted dark colours and pipe work left uncovered. The grey fits in perfectly with the type of thinking especially on the seat of mesh back chairs that are becoming more and more popular.

Of course, there is more than one grey. One of our most popular fabric ranges, Xtreme Plus, made from 100% recycled polyester, has five shades of grey and the fabulous Blazer fabric, made from 100% wool has 8 shades. Grey can add subtlety and taste to any office and will never go out of style.
